How to get here
As a tourist attraction, the Sillon de Talbert is clearly indicated by road signs. First follow the signs to Paimpol, then Lézardrieux. From Lézardrieux follow the signs to Lanmodez and then to Pleubian.

The “Sillon de Talbert” is a magnificient geomorphological feature on Brittany’s northern coast which juts out 3 km into the English Channel. Consisting essentially of large, roun-ded pebbles, this long, narrow band of land was formed by converging currents and by powerful sea swells out of the north-west. Although it appears immobile, it is constantly changing and its point is progressively shifting north east. As a result, it’s base is progres-sively eroding as if the “sillon” might one day lift anchor from the coast. The spectacular expanse of pebbles and sand which surrounds the “Sillon de Talbert” at low tide is used for gathering seaweed and for shell fishing.  more information >
